Our story
How we got our start
Squirt was launched in the United states in 2004 and legends, Ned Overend, Mike Kloser and Travis Brown were amongst the first to endorse it and Giant was Squirt’s first major US distributor. Following onto the success of Squirt Chain Lube, we then developed, Bike Wash, Tyre Seal and Sports Balm.
What makes our product unique
Our Chain wax is unique in that its long lasting, Clean to use, Organic and exceptionally slick helping riders save watts whilst riding. Once in use the wax slowly peels away from the chain taking dirt with it. This helps extend the life of your drive chain.

Product Description
Squirt Clean Long Lasting Chain Lube 120ml
This liquid lubricant has unique properties that make it ideal for use in any cycling condition. Squirt is an emulsion that is blended under special controlled conditions from a number of waxes.
This process gives it a unique smooth texture that makes it very easy to apply. No separation will take place under normal storage conditions and no clogging of the nozzle will occur.
Due to Squirt’s composition, buildup due to dirt does not occur and no grinding paste will form.
Continuous application can be done without having to clean the chain.
Excess wax that gets expelled by the chain does not attract dirt, hardens slightly and falls off during riding. Cleaning with a dry brush is adequate.
This lubricant also sticks to the chain longer and extends lubrication intervals.
To get the full benefit of the Squirt Chain Lube experience for first time users
Start with a clean chain the first time you apply Squirt – Do not apply over a greasy chain that has had other ‘Wet’ or ‘Dry’ lubes on it.
Degrease the chain first and allow it to dry
First Application
Apply Squirt liberally to the inside of the chain and do not wipe off.
Wait 5 minutes and apply again. Do not be alarmed if over zealous application results in lube initially dripping from the chain.
Riding and Cleaning
As you ride, Squirt slowly peels away from the chain, as it does it takes the dirt with it, helping keep the chain clean. When your chain needs more lube just re apply. If you want a really clean chain, wipe down with warm soapy water, then allow the chain to dry and reapply Squirt again, or use a stiff brush to knock off any excess wax when it is dry on the chain or cassette.
In wet weather Squirt will wash out faster than dry conditions, however it will still the dirt with it so you still have a clean chain and not a grinding black mess. After a wet ride, it is important to reapply a fresh layer of Squirt before putting the bike away. This allows the Squirt time to dry and create a protective layer ready for your next ride.

Probably the best lube I’ve used so far, chain looks clean even after 1000 miles and not particularly n or weather either! Some advice, lube the night before every ride and wash your chain with your bike.Recently completed some 60 mile plus ride in rainy conditions, I have noticed towards the end of the ride the chain is a bit noisy

I use this wax for top up, every 150-200 miles. Initially I used hot immersive wax but it is too much hassle, every time taking off the chain, heating the wax and so on. On GCN they advised to do initial waxing by hot wax and then top up by squirt. I’ve done over 120 miles so far and chain is still silent and clean. This way saves a lot of time.If you are new to chain waxing, remember that chain has to be PERFECTLY clean before first waxing. Needs to be washed in turpentine substitute at least two times until TURP doesn’t change color and then washed again in methylated spirit.

After trying several chain lubes, I was recommended to try Squirt, after a 100 mile ride, including 50 miles of the Peddars Way I was very impressed with the performance, my chain was still clean and had not picked up loads of dust unlike previous lubes I have used, this is now my go to brand that I will be using in future, I also purchased the 15ml bottle for my tool kit, which I will refill from the larger bottle if needed.

The Hermit At Home –
I wash my bikes fairly regularly (after every ride in the case of MTB in winter) and use the Park Tools “cyclone” chain washer at least once per month. Adding the Squirt chain lube after each wash (and wiping away the excess after 3-4 minutes) keeps my chains running well and improves their longevity as it keeps grit out of the chain links. I’ve tried 3-4 other lubes over the years, but the Squirt seems to pick up less dirt/dust than most, so gets less clogged, etc. It’s been my “go to” chain lube for a couple of years now.
