A good quality bike stand, well worth paying a bit extra for something good other than the cheaper options. This is made by Roces, the well known skate brand so it’s not suprising the quality is good. It’s solid in position and holds my older mountain bike easily which is heavier than the newer ones. The extra stabilising bar is a nice touch especially when removing wheels etc. Quick to set up and packs down nicely for easy storage. A good buy.

So far I’ve only used this stand to perform minimal upkeep to my bike, such as changing the pedals, replacing the grips, tightening the bolts and giving my bike a good clean. For these tasks this stand is more than up to the job! It’s nice to have it at a raised working height, and off the floor in a stable position. It’s nice to have an included handbag post, which keeps the wheel and bars pointing straight in a secure manner. It feels a lot sturdier than stands which are a bit cheaper (my next door neighbour has a bike stand I used to lend before I got my own), which cost about £30 less than this – but this one seems to be infinitely better in terms of quality and durability.Relatively easy to put together the first time, although it did come with 3 extra screws and I took a while to find out they were extra – should have read the instructions better!!Easy to fold away, and relatively compact when folded away too. It’s quite easy to raise and lower the attaching arm whilst my bike is on it (my bike is about 14kg, but if you’re strong enough you can obviously lift or lower a heavier bike too), but obviously you need to be careful if you do this.My bike is aluminium so I had no concern with clamping the top tube, but it does suggest to clamp onto the seat post if your bike is carbon to avoid damage. This rotating head makes easy work of this. Some reviews mention their stands have arrived scratched or damaged, but this one didn’t – even with a slight ding or two in the box (probably ahead during delivery). The tool stand is a nice touch, however the magnetic feature is a small magnetic strip, rather than the whole tool stand being magnetic (obviously being made out of plastic that would make it a wonder material if it was magnetic!!). There are multiple storage solutions, such as small holes for your Alan keys, and larger sections for things such as torque wrenches, or nuts and bolts. One small downside I’ve found is at the top of the vertical tube (see image), it is obviously open, so when cleaning my bike a decent bit of water has found it’s way inside the aluminium pole, and after I was finished I had to turn it upside down to empty it.Other than the water issue (which could be solved by adding a cap), it a very good bit of kit, that is strong and stable and really helps you to have two hands free when working on your bike. I wouldn’t hesitate to get another one! Thanks for reading – if you found this helpful, please let me know by clicking below. 🙂

I bought this not for a bike, but to hang a gong.As I’m not particularly good at DIY, I struggled with the assembly part: the clamp has to be screwed in at the back to steady it, but the screw and bolt that were needed for this had to be undone before the clamp could be put in place, and it took a lot of effort and some help from my husband to finally manage to undo the screw and bolt, which were very tightly done!To me, it would have made more sense to have them separately in a little bag, and put them in place when securing the clamp rather than taking them off only to put them back on again once they were securing the clamp, but what do I know!Other than that, I’m very happy with it. It is sturdy and the fact that it can be adjusted in height is also a very useful feature for what I use it for.

Just a few words to say how pleased I am with this bicycle work stand!! Having looked at the numerous other variations on offer, I thought that this particular design was the best. Having just put a new chain on my bike and done some other jobs, this bike stand has proved to be worth it’s weight in gold! The handle bar stabilzer is a great addition that some others don’t have. I wish I’d had this ages ago, it really does seem to do exactly what it says on the tin so to speak. Very versatile, strong, and quite light weight, I’d suggest that anyone wanting a bike stand should get this particular model. I hope this helps. 👍👍😁💯

Easy to assemble, nice adjustments via quick releases. Lightweight for moving but sturdy enough for good operation. Works on bot top bar and down tube. Very happy with my purchase.
