My First ever E bike and I am impressed.I purchased this E bike in March 21 and so far it has been well worth the money.It was fairly easy to put together approx 40 minutes .No major issues.Bike looks great I chose the black model.I get approximately 30 miles in mileage range on a full charge this is using level 1 and 2 I’ve never needed to go to level 3 yet despite climbing some high hills .I would say this bile could allow you to cycle many more miles than you would do with a regular bike .I’m doing 10 miles a day no problem which is great for my health both physical and mental so what’s not to love.Great shiny black colour and nice extras like disc brakes .I changed the seat but that was no problem either as it’s a fast release seat so anyone can change it up .I would highly recommend this e bike and I hope to clock up many more miles in the month’s to come .I would say if your wanting an entry level e biket hat looks good and works well and assists you then go for it now and Happy cycling folks .Update – I’ve now done over 2000 miles and my Swifty still going strong .Love it and it’s highly recommended by myself. Go out treat yourself and get on your bike you won’t regret it .

Swifty AT656 – Bought this ebike as an entry level bike to mainly ride off road on forestry roads, paths and cycle ways. I have a hard tail MTB which I have not used for 4 years because of the terrain where I live is valleys and it inevitably means a climb to get up into the forestry from my home. This bike has rekindled my desire to pedal once more, it’s superb!!It suits my needs as stated above and does all I want it to whilst enabling good enjoyable exercise.If you are going to purchase one of these bikes there are a few things that you need to bear in mind: firstly, it will need a short time to build and tweak to your requirements, but it is mostly assembled in the well packaged box. Therefore it’s not like a bike set up for you from a cycle shop, expect to do a bit, but not a lot.I had the obligatory broken front reflector (which I didn’t need) it comes loosely fitted to the loose packaged handlebars, hence breakage happens – it should be in the parts box.Basic bike knowledge only to assemble and tweak the parts get a usable ride just out of the box.But mainly, this is billed as a mountain bike, but that’s a bit of ‘elastic marketing’ as it’s more of an all round Hybrid type with basic off road capabilities and definitely not a ‘rock jumper’.I’ve changed the pedals from my MTB for greater foot stability and also changed the handlebar stem for a shorter one as it feels safer coming down these steep mountain roads (also lowering the seat via the quick release clamp, for down hills)Loads of reviews referred to the saddle as being horrendous, it’s not! Those people have probably never ridden a bike before.I have covered over 25 miles so far and it still shows half charge remaining – awesome when you think that most of that mileage has been covered going up mountain climbs. One such climb was 1.62 miles at an average of 8.7% gradient 😮‍💨On Strava I am 54th out of 88 on that climb, 3rd in the over 55 category and there is no one else at the age of 70 on that leaderboard or over 60 for that matter, so pedal assist does work 🚴🦵💪How long this bike will last? I have no idea, but it currently ticks all the boxes for me and allows a massive smile on my face when riding!!Just ordered a suspension seat post and will probably purchase some high volume off road tyres soon.For the price – this ebike is magnificent value and I will probably buy another one for my wife when she gives up riding her horse daily, she’s 73 🙄😂Bike was delivered 4 days before suggested delivery date.This might sound daft, but after my first 8 mile plus ride (including many climbs), I felt like going out again as I wasn’t broken by the effort. Will be charging the battery before a 25 miler up in the forestry with my son. He’s 30 years younger but I’ll be on his tail 🚴 lol, my ebike equates to the cost of one of his wheels I think 😂😂Not many physical sports can be done with such an age gap, although we often snow ski together when we can.I’m one happy off road biker again!!After a few months riding the mountain forestry roads it is still doing the job. Battery last really well and have done a few 20 milers with loads of climbs. One thing I have recently done is replace the freewheel rear cog set to include a 34 tooth cog (£30 plus you need a special socket tool FR1.3 from Park tool or similar) to make the steepest of climbs more easily covered.I absolutely love this bargain bike! 😉
