Worked as described, very easy. No scratching of the rim that can happen with metal tools. Seems quite robust

On most tyres this tool does a remarkably good job of both removing and replacing the tyre. Once you get the first bit of the tyre over the rim the tool does a good job of then removing it really quickly and easily. The main problem arises trying to get the tool under the rim of a really tight tyre but thankfully in my cycling world (MTB) these are few and far between

Amazing product, took me 2 min to change my inner tube

I bought this over a year ago, on the recommendation of a Velo-Obscura, a YouTuber cycle tourer.Due to the excellent puncture protection of schwalbe marathons, I’d not had any reason to use it, it’s just been in my saddle bag all this time.Since the marathons are showing no signs of weakness, and my curiosity got the better of me, I just attempted to remove and reseat a training tyre from an old wheel. So, bear in mind, the rigid, inflexible vittoria training tyre has been on this wheel for 5yrs+, was covered in cobwebs and dust, had become almost bonded with the rim before I made my first attempt. It worked. As per the instructional video, the rigid tyre came off and went back on in seconds. Not saying it wasn’t painful! Describing a thin piece of plastic as ‘ergonomic’ is a total stretch, but with some padding, the fast-on tyre was no match.I’m hoping the marathons keep going for a many a year to come, but when the day comes, I reckon I’ll have the tube replaced and the tyre back on in under 2 minutes.
