I was first sold a pack of these at my local bike park when I got a flat and didn’t want to pay for an inner tube or full puncture repair kit.I’ve not looked back since! The patches come in a little box, approximately 25x25x5mm, so they are very easy to carry no matter what sort of cycling you are doing. Everything other than the pump is included in that box: 6 patches, a piece of sandpaper and some instructions.Fixing punctures with these patches is pretty much instant, with no wait time for glue to set etc, but there is still a level of preparation required:I tend to search for the puncture by ear and then confirm by spraying water from my hydration pack onto the spot in question. This has the added bonus of clearing dust from the innertube before applying the patch. On one occasion I didn’t have water, but the patches still worked as well once I’d made sure the inner tube was well clear of dust.Rough up the surface with the sand paper. If the puncture is near the inner tube seam, I take a little extra time around here to make sure there isn’t going to be a gap along the seam. Then apply the patch. I’ve found it works best when the tyre is reasonably inflated so there is less stretch when inflating to full pressure, but there is a reasonable amount of stretch in the patches anyway, so where it’s not possible to inflate first I’ve just made sure the patch is well adhered first.Always check your tyre for the cause – it’s rare for the cause to come out of its own accord.Return the inner tube to the tyre and inflate. At this point, the patch is going to be sandwiched tightly between the tube and tyre, so there isn’t really a chance of failure after this point as long as you pump up to recommended pressures.I see that there are a minority of negative reviews here saying the patches are ineffective and I honestly cannot understand how that would occur other than a lack of preparation and/or not removing the cause.I’ve been using these for well over a year now and I’ve never had one of these patches fail. That’s even with my back tube starting to look like it’s a patchwork tube!

easy to apply. works well and sticks from the 1st try. The little box they come in is nice as it keeps everything together and can be easily tucked away in the backpack pocket without the fear of getting damaged.

Easy to use and seems to be a durable tire tube repair patch

Very good tube patches I cannot give these more praise than to say never leave home without them. They are very tacky and stick to tubes very well, they are a decent size which makes street repairs easier and simple.

Small, handy and do the job. Because of the size it requires you to be a little bit more patient when repairing the tube and sealing, but overall it is good quality for that price.I’m not sure though if they will handle multiple tube use over time, or can be just a temp fix, until you get a new inner tube
