1. Cannot be locked in time or the disc water brake makes a sharp noise, new brake pads and discs should be replaced.
2. If you find that the brake pads are too thick-The solution: recalibrate the brake or sand the brake pad surface a little.

These arrived within a couple of days of ordering.They were easy to fit and seem to work just as well on my ebike as more expensive pads. I am a heavy rider,18 stone plus and cycle in a fairly hilly area.My only slight criticism is the locking split pins are a tad too short for my calipers. I found I could squeeze the rounded end slightly to gain a few more mills.For the money, worth a punt!

Update: they are squeaky. However I still like them and would buy these again. Here’s the initial review- Delivery was maybe only 30 hours from the moment of ordering. The packaging is neat, reusable and well made. The brake pads do not squeak, and have a wonderful performance. They stop easily and it was easy to install them. Actually they’re even easier to install than a new inner tube. And you get 4 pieces all together. Bought these to replace pads on my hybrid bike which had become very noisy, despite being removed, sanded etc.. These new ones were a straight swap onto my Shimano disc brakes, work well, good stopping power and totally silent. Come with new split pins ready to fit and this particular set had two pairs of brakes so ideal for my own and my wife’s bike.
